THE CAR LIFE CHRONICLES

Classic Car Stories

Cars carry more than people.

They carry first dates, families, mistakes, losses, second chances, and the memories that stay with us long after the keys change hands.

The Car Life Chronicles follows classic cars through the lives of the people who owned them, loved them, lost them, and sometimes found their way back.

THEY ARE MEMORY WITH AN ENGINE

We remember more than the cars.

We remember who sat beside us. Where we drove. What was playing on the radio. The first trip, the last ride, and sometimes the day we let one go and wished for years that we had not.

Sometimes, they bring us back.

WHY I WROTE THE CAR LIFE CHRONICLES

My love of cars started with my dad.

I grew up in a family of car guys, listening to my Grandpa, my Dad, and my Uncle Gary talk about the cars they owned, the ones they wanted, the fast ones, and especially the ones they wished they had never sold. As I got older, that world grew through friends and mentors who taught me how to work on cars, appreciate them, and understand how much of our lives can become tied to them.

What stayed with me were never just the cars. It was the stories that came with them.

Ask someone about a car they had forty years ago, and they can usually tell you who was sitting beside them, where they drove it, what was happening in their life, and exactly how they felt when they finally let it go.

That is where The Car Life Chronicles came from.

The cars matter. I want the details to be right. But these stories have always been about the people inside them.
