About Holden Rhoades

Holden Rhoades writes about imperfect people, complicated relationships, the choices that change us, and what happens when the life we built no longer fits the person we have become.

Writing was never part of the plan.

For most of his life, Holden built businesses, raised a family, worked with his hands, and solved problems with practical answers. Stories were different.

What began as an idea became a character. That character became Claire. And what started as one story grew into the five-book Beautifully Ruined series.

The novels explore love, identity, ambition, desire, loss, forgiveness, and the choices people make when there are no easy answers. The characters are flawed because people are flawed. They make mistakes. They hurt each other. They change. Sometimes they find their way back.

Cars have been part of Holden's life for as long as he can remember. He grew up listening to his family talk about the cars they owned, the ones they wanted, and especially the ones they wished they had never sold. That lifelong connection eventually became The Car Life Chronicles, a separate collection of stories about classic cars and the lives carried inside them.

Holden lives in Arizona with his wife and family.
